Blue Tape. Show Up Anyway.
Monday morning I had a call at 8:30 am., It was a Zoom class talking about artificial intelligence, search engines, and what it really means to have a website optimized for AI crawlers.
There was just one thing.
A strip of blue tape was covering my camera.
Not because I didn’t care.
Not because it wasn’t important.
But because it was 8:30… and I was not exactly camera-ready for a masterclass on the future of digital strategy.
And that’s the point.
I showed up anyway.
This week has been one of those weeks. The kind where you give yourself a pep talk in the mirror… EVERY morning. The kind where motivation isn’t automatic. It’s intentional. It’s forced. It’s earned.
But here’s what I know as an agency owner and as a business leader:
Showing up matters more than anything.
That morning conversation was powerful. We discussed how AI is reshaping search behavior. Traditional SEO isn’t enough anymore. Websites must now be structured, optimized, and written in ways that AI crawlers can understand, interpret, and prioritize.
Search engines are evolving.
AI is summarizing answers before users ever click a link.
Your website has to be built for both humans and machines.
That’s not optional anymore.
At Prime Time, we’re actively helping clients adapt to this shift. From content structure and schema to clarity, authority, and user experience, optimization now means something bigger.
But here’s the leadership lesson underneath all of it:
Even on the weeks that feel heavy.
Even when you’re not perfectly prepared.
Even when the camera stays off.
You show up.
You learn.
You listen.
You adjust.
You grow.
Because progress doesn’t require perfection. It requires participation.
Blue tape and all.
If you’re wondering whether your website is prepared for the AI shift in search, let’s talk. The future of marketing is here. And we’re ready for it.
Now let’s go and enjoy our weekend.
